This is my take on personality profile of United States President Donald Trump.

In today’s world of instant communications, even a slight gesture can be interpreted in real-time. Therefore, forming Mr Trump’s personality profile is quite easy. Here are some of his characteristic grandiose; Mr. Trump believes in personal fidelity like a mafia boss and actually dishes out punishment for any perceived unfaithfulness. He’s fired several team members like Secretary Rex Tillerson and FBI Director James Comey for seeming to be less-than-loyal to him. That translates onto the global stage as well. Countries that voted against the US on Jerusalem were threatened directly. He eventually did cut off aid to Pakistan for co-sponsoring the resolution.

Inability to build relations with people close to him; He has been called laughable by Michael Wolffs, ‘moron’ by former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, ‘hopeless idiot’ by his national security adviser, General McMaster, seemingly his closest confidants. Even his long-standing wife Melania Trump swats his hand and displays cold indifference towards him.

He believes he is above social norms and prefers the company of low-morals, hi-glitter women. This shallow person doesn’t feel he needs to adhere to boundaries. Courting porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen Mc Dougal, while still married, point to the same.

He respects power and prestige. He is known to appreciate autocrats. He’s never used a bad word for Mr. Putin, Mr. Xi Jinpeng.

He has no empathy for the weak and noncompetitive as he had to be reminded on cue cards to show empathy with Parkland shooting survivors. He is completely on Israel’s side on the Palestinian conflict, despite them showing disproportionate use of force. Not one peep about the militant brand of Hinduism creating havoc in Muslims of India and Kashmir.

He shows selective integrity. He wants to tear up the Iran agreement and bullies Pakistan; both having the right credentials to assimilate into the world community, but India, Saudi Arabia, and Israel can do no wrong in human rights. Then publicly calls the alt-right-white people as ‘very fine people; protesting black players need to be ‘fired’ and Mexican’s are ‘rapists’. Muslims need to be banned from entry— all this just to appease his personal vote bank. No wonder he has more than a 70% approval rating in the Republican vote.

He shows disdain for people he has nothing to gain from. He’s called African nations as ‘sh*t-hole’ countries, bans entry from the poorest nations, and suggested bringing in immigrants from Norway. Then his contempt of women is reflected in his interview where he’s said to grabs them by the ‘****’.

He sees social visibility as the mark of success. That’s why he rubs shoulders with celebrities. This also shows a deep-seated loathing for himself.

He flip-flops on his opinions of people. One time calling Pakistanis ‘fantastic’ ‘intelligent people’ and flipping suddenly to ‘lies and deceit’.

Vanity is the way he tries to hide his “absolutely clean pate’ with a spray stiffened hairstyle.

His utter disregard for friends and his loneliness, writes Michael Wolf in his bestselling book, is apparent when he fails to recognize old friends and repeats his old stories ‘word by word’.

He takes criticism as a personal slight; is apparent in the way he called Rosie O Donnell, his chief critic, a ‘pig’ and a ‘loser’. He is known to pursue and destroy people he dislikes. Mr. Trump believes everyone is out to get him as he doesn’t allow anyone to touch his toothbrush, out of fear someone might poison him.

President Trump’s signature shows that he works very deeply, consistently and competes tasks assigned to him. He has very high regard for himself and his family name. He does however cut into his Trump family for some reason and is not very clear about his family name. He is self-confident and doesn’t need to guard himself. All his tasks are work in progress, and there is no definite start or stop. He takes his sweet time to do the things that he thinks are important.

Diagnosis of President Trump personality profile

My take is that Pakistan is dealing with a Malignant Narcissist that only recognizes power and shine. I don’t believe President Trump is a sociopath or a psychopath as his expressions sometimes show shame, that is typical of the narcissist, not Sociopaths. President Trump definitely has a personality disorder, but it has worked well for him in the Western society that eulogizes nasty, cold-hearted gathering of riches.

How should Pakistan deal with President Trump?

Pakistan has serious problems with the USA. Pakistan has neither shine nor power — the magnet to narcissists. The only alternative is to heap truckloads of praise on the man and talk him into committing doable terms for Pakistan—all the while holding a stick behind the back. The third option is to completely pull back from his peripheral vision, as someone of no use. There can be no in-between.

What we shouldn’t attempt to do is to p*ss him off. Narcissists ( As i have written on it) are known to hold on to a grudge like religion and strike when least expected.
