Tribute to BB Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan People’s Party
Benazir Bhutto of the Pakistan People’s party, like her father Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, was a flawed but talented leader that Pakistan needed.
She had the ability to take her followers to hell and back and no one would’ve squeaked. Unfortunately, Pakistan couldn’t make the most of this God gifted talent. Now we are left with her son Bilawal Zardari and memories of her bravery and intelligence. Without further ado, enjoy this eulogy of Benazir Bhutto and her best pictures and photos:
Dhoondo Gay Agar Mulkon Mulkon
Milnay Kay Nahi Nayaab Hain HumDono jahan teri mohabbat mai haar ke
Vo ja rah hai koi shab-e-gham guzar keAaj phir dil main teri khoi hoi yaad aai
Jaisay veeranay main chupkay say bahar a jaey
Jaisay sehraoon main hoolay say chalay baad e nasim
Jaisay bimaar ko bewajhay qarar aa jaeyYeh ranj-o-gham ki siyahi jo dil pe chhayi hai,
Teri nazar ki shu’aon mai kho bhi sakti thi.
Magar yeh ho na saka,
Magar yeh ho na saka,
Aur ab ye aalam hai,
Ke tu nahin,
Tera gham, teri justaju bhi nahin,
Guzar rahi hai kuch iss tarah zindagi jaise,
Isay kisi ke sahare ki aarzoo bhi nahin.
Maaye ne mai kinnu aakhan
Dard wichoray da haal nee
Jungal belay phiran dhond-aindee
Ajay na payo laal ne
Dartay hain bandookon walay ik nehatti larki say
Phelay hain himmat kay ujalay ik nehatti larki say
Daray huay hain, maray huay hain, larza larza hain
Mulla, tajir, gernail jiyalay, ik nehatti larki say
Teri mehfil say uth kar ishq ke maron par kya guzri
Mukhalif ik jahan tha, janay becharon pe kya guzri
Tery hoontoon kay pholoon ki chahat main hum
daar ki khusk tehni pay wary gaye
tery hathoon ki shamoon ki hasraat main hum
neem tareek rahoon main mary gayeJab ghuli teri rahoon main sham-i-sitam
hum chalay aye , laye jahan tak qadam
lab pay harf-i-ghazal , dil main qandeel-i-gham
apna gham tha gawahi tery husan ki
dekh qayam rahay is gawahi pay hum
hum jo tareek rahoon mein mary gaye
Muqam faiz koi raah men jacha hi nahin
Jo ku-e-yaar se nikle to su-e-daar chalay
Benazir Bhutto’s assassination ended an era in revolutionary politics and has left us longing for a leader we could really love. Trivial tributes like Benazirabad Larkana, Benazir Income Support Program, Benazir Bhutto University Lyari, Benazir International Airport Islamabad, and Benazir Hospital Rawalpindi, can’t compare with the personality herself. Then we have copycat hotties named after the queen Benazir Bhutto, namely, Benazir Shah and Benazir Sheikh. All those interested in the real Benazir Bhutto Autobiography should read Daughter of the East and Daughter of Destiny. If Benazir Bhutto were alive today she would’ve been 74 years of age, as she was born on 21 June 1956.
If you have liked reading this, I am sure you will like my tribute to Quaid-i- Azam too.
