Tribute to my love Pakistan Independence day 14 August
This is my tribute to my first love Pakistan.To really understand this treacherous friend of mine, you’ll have to travel to its four corners and meet the loving people that make it uniquely Pakistani.

Bachpan ke saavan beetay, ladakpan ki beeti dhaara
Jab murh ke dekha peeche, to chhoota jeevan saara (I unknowingly dedicated my life to you)
Phir bhi teri aas pakad ke, har ek din guzaara hai (With the longing for you)
Teri ik nazar pe meri, saans ka sahara hai
Tumse binti karat hoon dil todo na hamara (I beg you not to break my heart)
Do matwale naina humare, teri hi raah takat hain pyaare
Mann ki mere preet bujhaaye, tan ki mere sej sajare (I long for you to fill my soul with you affection)

دو متوارے ، نینا ہمارے ، تیری ہی راہ تکت ہیں پیارے
من کی میرے پریت بجھا رے ، تن کی میرے سیج سجا رے
سوچتے پیارے ہم تو ہارے ۔ ۔ ۔بار بار، ہر ڈار ڈار ڈگر، کروں تیرا انتظار ۔ ۔

Jhoom jhoom chale soneya soneya”
When someone asked Muhammad Ali Jinnah what does he aim to achieve in his lifetime he replied when he is presented in front of God on judgment day, he would hope God says ”well done Mr. Jinnah! ”.
